Tuesday, September 22, 2009 ; Pulau Tekong Army passing out parade(Justin's journal)
Hi! During the September 1 week school holiday, I went to Pulau Tekong to attend my cousin's passing out parade. First we took a bus from Pasir Ris bus interchange to the Army ferry terminal. We took a ferry from there and it was a double-decker! We sat on the second level. There was a TV and a cockroach behind my second cousin's seat. He used his ferry ticket to hit it and chase it away. We looked out of the window and saw water all around us. When we reached the campsite, the security was tight. They would check your belongings and make you walk through a scanner. When we reached the parade square, we were hungry. Luckily they gave everyong a goodie bag with mineral water and biscuits. There was tissue paper as well. We ate biscuits and some snacks that my mum had brought along the trip. My uncle bought snacks from Pulau Tekong that was unfamiliar to me. We watched the show happily. I hope I can go again, but it will be my turn to be enlisted in the ARMY!!! Ooh, so scary!BYE!!!
