Mr Wan we cant write the relation as the information is not..um... i dont know how to say but its like first one 4s plus then 3 seconds then 5 seconds so its not really accurate. We dun have stopwatch either so cannot redo. As what u said do something like 1cm extension is the best.blabla but that isnt relation is it?

Mr Wan, our timing is like also not so accurate 'cos our timing is not reasonable.
That is a relationship.
Length of wings does not affect duration proportionately. It doesn't mean the longer the wings, the longer the spinner will stay in the air.
There is a certain length that suits paper spinner and length beyond or lower than that will cause the spinner to reach the ground faster.
Ok, thanks for the info, Mr Wan
Maybe I give an example of how the relation sounds.
Let's say the spinner floats for a longer time in the air when the length of the wings are extended by 2 cm each.
If the wings is extended beyond 2 cm, it will land faster.
If the wings is extended less than 2 cm, it will also land faster.
The relationship will be written like this:
The time taken for the spinner to stay afloat in the air will increase with the length of the wings of the spinner until the wings are 8 cm each. Beyond 8 cm, the time taken will start to decrease.
I think the relationship is better described in the PowerPoint using the table showing the length of the extended wing and the average time.
haiyoo!! still cannot write.
control: 3.80
1cm extention: 4.26
2cm:3.42
3cm:4.23
