Last Wednesday, we got our health check-up. I went to the height and weight station at first and the nurse took my height and weight. My height is within normal range but I am underweight. I have been underweight since P1 and I don't know why. I exercise regurlarly and eat healthily. My mother says that it's because I eat too fast and the food is not bitten into small parts to digest. Then, I went to the injection station. At first, I thought it was only for one arm but actually it was both arms. The injection on the right arm is not very painful but the left was extremely painful, until now it is still a bit pain. The effect of the injection on the arm is pain but if you relax and rest for a while, it would not be pain. On the other hand, the effect of the injection on the left arm is not pain but it is after the injection that is very painful. I really hope that there is no more injection in P6.

Dear Journal,

Today is a Wednesday. Yesterday was Tuesday. I was very happy as CCAs are continuing. Although not sure why so many friends was very upset. Our CCA was animation. I was not sure whether it was going to be a fun CCA. I asked my friends who had experienced thess CCA before and they told me it was the funnest CCA. Indeed it was! We learnt how animation came to our lives and we did our own animation too. I drew wrongly and it turned our to be upside down. I was embarressed, but happy of this CCA. Turns out 1 sec of animation was 24 frames!
Today was also wonderful! Mr. Wan came back as he did not come to school on Mon and Tue. I was very sad as our teacher who had "substitute" Mr. Wan for 3 weeks is going to leave us this week as he was a wonderful teacher like Mr. Wan. The first week when he teached us I was SICK.. and skipped alot of lessons. I thought I was NVR going to catch, but I did. And most thanks given to him.This Friday, we will give our teacher a "surprise" good-bye party. Two days away! I can't was 'til Friday as we are going to teach him SC. We will make a poster and teach him the Respiratory System. I hope we will show him the best day to remember.
Today English was just the funnest EL lessons of all year. We did Journal about dilemma's from the characters of the book "Sing to the Dawn". I love putting my own feelings on just anything and about everything. For the second lesson, we did a "debate" in our class. Girls vs. Boys. The winning group will win a lollipop. Every round, there will be a scene. Everygroup will have one person to represent the group and Mdm Maisarah will decide whose explanation stole her vote and wins one point. We won! We had beaten the boys be one point. I felt sorry for them. One round, I represented the group but lost. I felt embarressed and thought the girls will definitely be mad at me but they didn't! I was so proud of Chu-Yen as she was the one that let us won!
Our group stayed back today to finish up the poster and we had alot of fun doing it, not like having fights in groups. I was soooo happy that I had been put in this group as I feel that I can be myself in this group, crazy and crazier, and whenever there is a day when I fell unhappy, they will always have a mission to make me happy again and they always complete their mission. I'd rather be in an all boys group than have an all girls group and fight with them all the time. This month is coming to an end, means announcing this months winner! We are close to this year's winner so I really hope we can win as we had never win before. I think teamwork is everything, teamspirit and friendship. Winning the title,"This Month's WINNER", and with all the group mates that you rarely care about, what's the point? I learnt this from my group today and I will never forget about it.

In the June holidays, I went to Austrailia with my whole family. Particularly at Brisbane and Sydney. We stayed in the countryside for quite some time and it is a great way to escape the busy life here! There were animals like chickens, horses, cows, and lots of wild birds. It was really Peaceful and at night, we can see the enormous amount of stars twinkling brightly at the dark sky. When we went to Sydney, the street life is so much that even at night, the cars were still rushing about like it is a rush hour in Singapore. I saw a few people homeless and were in the streets. I think that they have not study well and did not get a good job expecially in Sydney, where people are always trying to find good jobs. In Singapore, We look into what people are capable of as people are good in different things. That is why, I am still very proud of Singapore.

Dear Journal,

Yesterday, it was a monday. My father came back from home very early as he wanted to revise my brother and mine work. He came home about 6.10. My brother suggest that we fo to the park to jog as his "NAFA" test is coming up. At first my father said that we should all cycle as it would take a long time. I agreeded but on second thought, I thought that my brother wanted to jog so I jog with him. My father brought 1 bicycle so if anyone was tired we could cycle it. He cycled it first. When we were downstairs he said he wanted to fishform his first. We all agreed. It was a long time before we reached home but I was happy for my brother as he could train for his "NAFA" and I hoped he passed.

The happiest day in the week is on Tuesday. Because last Tuesday I had a tournament and the school we fight was poiching. Jin Jie was playing the first single. And I was playing second single.

The person I played with was very good, the first set I won but the second and third I lost but I was still very happy because the third set the score was very close and I could almost win. Esmond and Chong Ming was playing first single and Samuel and Roden was playing second single and Roden’s brother came to support us. And the teacher bought us 100-plus too. Before we played we had to wait for very long before we could play. And there was a lot of school students playing with the courts and all of them was very strong. But the bad thing was all of us loss. But our coach told us that we played very well and I look forward to the next competition and hope we will win

Today at 7pm, I went to Anglican High to have my fifth training. As usual we had to put our bags at a corner and stroke with a few friends before the coach came. Talking about friends, I have made a lot of friends after the fifth training. First we started of with the warm-up then we split into two groups.

The first were students who were better in strokes, and the others were not so good. I was in the “not so good” group. Next we started of with a few full works and then feeding. Then we had to find a partner each, then we had to hit 100 times per lob. After that we went for feeding. We had to hit 20 shuttles to end the training we combined to do physical training we had to run around 10 rounds around four courts.

I think that would help me in my 1.6km run. After that intensive training, I went down , my brother gave me 50 cents to buy a packet drinks, then we reached home at 9.22pm.

I am looking forward to next Friday. Because tomorrow there is soccer league and last week we played with snow kid , hardy boys, and ginger cracker. Snow kid and hardy boys beat us 3-1 and 3-2. And the lousiest team of all was ginger cracker . Their team is made out of P3s but only 4 of them were here so to be fair we had to play 4 v 4 . When it is goal kick it still could go in. We won them 11-0. Mr. Kirk said that P6s have to study for their PSLE and cannot play so I am looking forward to term so that we can win a gold medal. The team we made up is quite good so I am sure we can beat the P5 preserver team. And I have saw the list and that tomorrow we are playing with the easy team and we can score a lot of goals

Last Saturday, we went to Marina Barrage to see the National Day Parade. Our school brought us there. We had to report by 2pm and I did not know why we had to go so early when the show only start at 6pm or 6.30pm. So we had to wait for about 1 hour before we left and reached at about 3.55pm. We have to wait again for two hours plus.

The weather was very hot and before the show had began, I had been sweating already. When the show had started, we were in high spirit after the long wait. The show was quite nice and I liked the red lion and the fireworks. I wished that the fire works lasted longer as I had no time to take picture of it. When we were leaving, there was a heavy downpour. Though it was cold, I thought it was a good experience for us and let us remember it.

NDP 09(Marina Bay)
On the 11 July 20, 2009 the whole Primary 5 went to watch the NDP rehearsal!
We have to reach school at 2 P.M. at the school hall. We had to wait at the school hall
for about 1 hour. While waiting, the teachers give out the he goodies-bag to us which
contains: flag, snacks, drinks, drum and poncho. We also had a KFC meal which contains
a piece of chicken and burger.
After waiting for an hour, we headed to the school‘s car park where the bus is. It was
a 45 minutes trip to reach Marina Bay. When we reached, it was a total of 20 minutes to reach
to our 3 story high seats it was very big not many schools were there. We had to wait for
3 hours .while waiting, many people were already eating their KFC meal. During the show
It was very funny and cool. The ending it was raining cats and dogs, I wore my poncho but
Did not cover my head ,I had a great time at Marina Bay.

Im so sorry about the noise. I heard Justin and De Kai whispering. I was giving my broken speciment slide to Jonathan. I told him later go throw away. And other groups might be contributing to the noise as well but i didn't really notice which other. Im really sorry and i'll keep quiet the next time you tell us to do so.

During the june holidays, I had a lot of fun. On monday, I went to Anglican High to participate for a selection trial.(badminton)JinJie also went to. His mother and miss Diana brought us there.miss Diana hailed a taxi at the front gate and we went off. we reached there at 7 at night. There was quite a lot of people there. We needed to do some warm up before we started. They asked us to do some fullwork, after that we had to play with the coaches. They said that we all did very well, and we will know the results when school reopens. We also went back by taxi. we also saw another p5 girl and we let her sit in our taxi to go to the MRT station. when school reopened , Miss diana told me that I went in and JinJie did not . i was very happy but on the other hand sad as i would be going alone
