Thursday, November 19, 2009 ; Thank you
Dear 5 Diligence,Thank you for the card and the cup. I'm sorry that I've broken the cup by accident. Nevertheless, your thoughts are what it matters most. I fully appreciate the efforts. I like the teamwork displayed today during area cleaning. But the ending was a little soured by some of the boys who had to add last strokes to a beautiful painting.
However, I was most gladdened by Hazim's and Nicholas' contributions. They showed me such positivism towards the end of the day. The spirits are strong in them.Every story must have an ending. I hope I didn't make yours a distasteful one.
I hope the class spirit strengthens next year. I hope Diligence will turn out better next year. I hope you'll enjoy learning more next year. And I wish you best in your PSLE next year. This should be the last of non-photo entry by your naggy teacher.Take good care.Yours sincerely,Mr Wan

; Descriptions for pictures
The pictures are a little blurry as my camera takes pictures poorly without flash. Chinese junk The Chinese junk was a ship that transported Chinese immigrants to Singapore. It also carried cargoes like dried and salted fish, Chinese medicines, silk, nankeens and earthenware. City Day Celebration King George VI granted the status of a City to Singapore in 1951 after World War 2. Lavish celebrations were held in the Singapore river, including a 400-feet long dragon gliding across the harbour. Samsui Women Samsui women working in construction site was a common sight in the past. The shophouses and warehouses in Clarke Quay were works of these magnificent labourers. Chinese Clan Due to the prosperity of Clarke Quay, there were many coolies hired to transport the cargoes. As the numbers increased, conflicts were common. Chinese clans of different dialect groups were set up to mediate conflicts between coolies of different dialect group. Singapore River These are portraits of Singapore river of the past. As seen, there were several sampans parked at the harbour, which reflected the glamourous past of Clarke Quay.

Saturday, November 7, 2009 ; Playing with stapler in class
Dear Mr Wan,
I am very sorry for playing ''shooting stapler bullets'' in class.I played ''shooting stapler bullets'' as Nicholas had started it by shooting me even though I did nothing to him. Then, who knows that Azril join in too! However, Nicholas was worser, he not only ran to me and shoot, he even shoot stapler bullets on Azril hair. Before Term 2Nicholas have already started shooting stapler bullets at my group that time just that last time was not as many times as now. I am really sorry for shooting stapler bullets in class. But anyway, I have already clean up the mess I made around my area. I felt very guilty, childish and irresponsible of my unrulely behaviour.

Friday, November 6, 2009 ; Apology on shooting staple bullets
Dear Mr Wan,
I am really sorry for what I did on Thursday. It happens when I was doing my own things, I saw Nicholas and Azril shooting staple bullets at Zhi Shuang. They also shot at me with it. I quickly used a stapler and shot at them with staple bullets , but I did not manage to hit them. I stopped after that and went to see my friends play chess. Now, I learnt that I must not shoot at people when other people shoot you , but tell the teacher. From now on , I will not play with staple bullets anymore , as I know it is dangerous as I may hit other people's eye.
